Fowl Cholera
Hi folks,
Is this a common disease and what are the symptoms? I have had a few sudden deaths and another hen showing symptons like those described online for cholera... any help would be most appreciated.

Monday, April 30th, 2012 send one of the sick hens to a lab ,to be tested, to find out for sure.

Monday, April 30th, 2012 I am going to bring her to the vet this morning, although i am not sure if he will know what the problem is. What lab would I send her to?

Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 Your local Dept of Agri district veterinary lab. Your vet will know the address etc. There is no charge for the service.

Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 Poor old Rosie was culled this monring and was brought to the lab for testing. I will let you know what the diagnosis is! Thanks again for the advice!

Friday, May 4th, 2012 still no word back from the lab... its been 2 weeks now. I've rang a few times, and still no word. Thankfuly all other birds are in good form, but its still a worry.
